DMDMH is an effective and broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative.It inhibits microbial growth,such as gram-positive bactoria,gram-negative bacteria,mold,yeast by releasing substance.The product can be easily incorporated into a broad number of emulsifier and surface active agents,and can be stable in a wide area of PH and temperature.
It can be used in a large number of personal care products to prevent spoilage from microorganisms.Typical use levels are from 0.10-0.35%.Product include but are not limited to shampoos,bubble baths,face creams,sunscreen lotions,and wipes.
It can be also used for a number of function such as emulsifier,lubricants,coalescing agents,products include but are not limited to aqueous-based and nonaqueous-based coatings,pigment,oil paint and other industrial systems
